Would have given it 5 stars, if it were a little bit bigger to hold a 9" x 12" pad of watercolor paper. Plenty of zippered pockets/compartments and one velcroed pocket. One of the larger zippered compartments will hold a tablet or e-reader, and is padded. The other larger pocket has two small pouches for holding pencils, erasers, travel brushes, and what not. The zippered compartment on the very front will hold a travel watercolor palette.

The contents are all things that I use. I really like the unique folding palette. So far I did a swatch of the colors, and not all of them are opaque as advertised.

The perfect sized bag. I use it for watercolor sketching. Large enough to hold my Stablo easel. Pockets are a practical, useful size. My only slightly negative comment concerns the strap. I wish it wasn’t sewn into the bag. Clips on the strap ends to allow it to be used as a sling bag or backpack in addition to the shoulder would be better. This would allow different carry options. That said, I highly recommend this bag.

I really loved the bag. It has a lot of pockets and it's very spacious. The material is thicc which is good. Thick shoulder straps are great. It would be better if it would be water resistant, in case there are spill in the bag. To add on it would be better if there were those elastic things, (where traditional backpacks have to hold pens). it would be for brushes or whatever art supply that needs to be standing up and be secure from moving. Ex, so the brush hair wont get damaged from the bag moving too much. But other than that it's a great travel bag.

All of the supplies in the photo and more fit into this well designed and sturdy travel bag. Painting outdoors will be even more fun when the temperatures cool off and I'm out there more often. The sections and pockets are perfect for organizing painting supplies. I will likely use this as a travel bag when traveling even if I don't take paints.

Super fun supplies for a day of Plein Air painting. The bag is roomy to hold all the supplies and the paint colors are great. I swatched out all the colors and I am looking forward to getting a chance to use it all real soon. Love the travel brush and size of the journal! Great Box. I'm glad I got it. Really well made bag-- padded enough so you could stick your ipad mini in there with your art supplies and it would be safe-- honestly a great bag. The only change I would make is to have a simple hand strap to hand carry after the shoulder strap is taken off-- for those last few steps to the cafe table... More bags please! (maybe one featuring art in the form being featured by the box?)

I am extremely pleased with this special Urban SketchBox because it has everything I need for sketching on the go (except for the water)! This "crossbody" shape watercolor sketch bag holds a lot. It has enough space on one side alone for nearly everything (brushes, water container, palette with colors, paper) and you could use the second side for personal items. Or stuff it full of everything you need for a sketching trip and then add or subtract in your hotel room as you need. There is even a front zip pocket for small items (say, a credit card and some cash and a room key.)
