Derivan Liquid Pencil

The Derivan Liquid Pencil was a little hard to use but it was a fun and different medium to play with. I made several different strength washes in a palette but one thing I noticed was the pigment settled to the bottom quickly and had to be remixed almost every time I put my brush in it. It also has quite a bit of a shine to it especially at full strength which can be good or bad. It’s a great way to put some super light (diluted) or super dark (full strength) shading into a graphite piece that would be hard to achieve with a pencil.
