Magnani Toscana Block 4" Round

Always a favorite — excellent quality paper for watercolor and other mediums.

Cartiera Magnani is one of my favorite brands for watercolor paper. I used Italia (gran fin) before, so I was curious to try the Toscana ( rough finish). I love the size and the round shape of the block, perfect for a cute little card. I made some Flamenco dragon sketches for my Flamenco friends for the year of the Dragon, giving the dragon castanets, Spanish hat, and proverbial rose :) . I used my own watercolor, and Futaho Cabura #30 back pen and Holbein white gouache from the Sketchbox. Watercolor goes nicely on this Toscana paper, I will definitely use it more.

Cutest little block of paper!

Will be fun to use making some cool small paintings, one of my favorite art projects. I may even decide to seal these so they could be used as coasters.

I absolutely love this circular watercolor block. I feel like the size of it is perfect to make carefree and fun paintings or other artwork. I used a whole 15 pages previously and came back for more! I looked at the pricing on another art supply sites and this price was the best. I love that these say sketchbox on them!!
