This Premium box features a custom 6-set of Derwent Tinted Charcoal pans that are uniquely formulated and water-soluble. Adding just a hint of color to the charcoal base, this palette of muted tones provides a high level of creative control with a white pan for highlighting. We've also included a 4-set of woodless graphite pencils by Koh-i-Noor. The HB lead in this set is great for sketching out your piece, and the softer leads are perfect for shadowing and embellishments. We included two Faber-Castell Pitt pencils: black charcoal for dark lining and shading, and a pastel pencil in cream for highlights. This box also comes with a kneaded eraser from Faber-Castell, and a SketchBox signature 1/4" chisel tip brush. Finally, our surface for this box is a custom Arnhem 1618 pad (4x6", 12 sheets). This semi-textured cotton paper is absorbent and durable, perfect for the supplies in this box!

The charcoal palette is really cool. You can use it wet and I used it dry too, by taking it out of the container and sketching defining line or two with the side.The brush is really nice too. This kit really brings something unique to the medium.
