This is a great sketchbook size for travel. I've purchased two so far. I have used this sketchbook with graphite, gouache, colored pencil, pastels, watercolor, and pen and ink and it has worked beautifully with all.

I love this sketchbook so much, I ordered a second book. The first, I call my "Book of Pairs." The size of the pages is perfect for small snippets of art and the quality of the paper and the sketchbook overall is exceptional.

I thought the small size of this sketchbook would be a disappointment, but I was wrong! It is the perfect size to tuck away and take along with me. I also am creating a collection of small snippets of art, working on much needed skills, but not trying to fill a large space. Love it!
