I love the Beam paints! I love metallic watercolor paints. I love posca markers! The white gouache paint is very useful (not shown in photo). Always wanted to try the Sauders WC paper from England. The W&N wc pencils with own case is a good addition. Overall, I highly recommend this Limited Ed. Sketchbox, 10/10!

The watercolor pencils were first rate; especially when activated with water-- I was impressed by how pigmented they were.

I am a huge Sketchbox fan, for several years now. You guys always do a great job. As someone who has been trying to reclaim lost art skills, you folks have helped me tremendously over these last few years, by educating me about art supplies.
It was through you all that I became aware of the creme de la creme...so often, as it were. As brick and mortar retailers struggle, I can attest that I would most definitely not find many brands, or even special tools at the local big box chain.
To that end...God Speed, as they say...may you live long and prosper.

The Beam paints are spectacular and worth the price of admission alone. The watercolor pencils are kind of underwhelming, but the paints make up for it. Lots of great stuff plus a full-sized pad of paper for a reasonable price!

Sketch Box is a great way to introduce yourself to new brands and types of mediums. They also help get your juices flowing and when you see other people's work it also encourages you. It is a nice little treat for yourself and you may create something from a certain box and treat someone else with that treat. Pure enjoyment.

All of the items are top quality. The watercolor pencils are wonderful. They really gave to the texture of the Saunders paper. The beam paints are everything I thought they would be and I loved their inclusion in the box. The teal watercolor shimmers in the light and the posca pen is rich and shimmery... luscious even. Beautiful box!

I splurged on the special edition sketchbox for myself. I wasn’t disappointed. They are always fun. I love watercolor and it had a variety of paints and Windsor Newton watercolor pencils. It also came with a paint pen that I have not tried yet. And quality watercolor paper. Whether you are an artist wanting to play with new products or need a gift for artists in your life - it’s worth it.

I enjoyed everything that came in the box. The pencils work well and the paper is absolutely lovely. This was also a fantastic chance to try out Beam Paints, something I'd been wanting to do in a while. The new brush tip Poscas are awesome so it was great to get one of those, too! I also really enjoyed the new size quill brush, it's good to have one that's a bit bigger.
For anyone who is a serious watercolorist, the paper included in this box is around the same level as Arches, very good quality, though the tooth is just a tad bit softer. No complaints, and I'd be proud to give this as a gift. I'd say the value is solid.

Such fun to get this watercolor themed “expansion pack”. I am newly delighted and excited about watercolor so I gave myself this very fun gift. The watercolor pencils are creamy and dream and I adore the colors. The big fat brush (I don’t know what its official name is) holds a lot on of water for getting the paper wet. Still playing around with the shimmery teal paint! Thanks for the delightful and inspirational new tools/toys!

There is so much fantastic stuff in this box! I love Beam paints and was so happy to see them included! I’m new to watercolor pencils, so this was an incredible set to try out the technique! I also love the brush…this looks like a super nice quality quill with a sharp point! I haven’t gotten to try it all yet, but cannot wait! The dark teal paint is gorgeous, and the gauche is super nice..a little goes a long way! The paper is very nice and I have a 9x12 project in mind that I’ll use it for! Overall, I’m very pleased and it was worth every penny!
