Loved the surfaces and extras in this box! The sharpenable eraser is wonderful for erasing fine details. The pencils were a little harder consistency than I had expected but the color is still solid and layerable.

I love art supplies and I really didn’t need to start down another road with another medium. All the premium subscription boxes were marked down to $15 and I had to get one so colored pencils it was. I read about colored pencils and watched a few beginner videos while I waited for my box to arrive. I’ve been very careful, coloring lightly and building up color. I was so careful but one of the more expensive pencils lead broke off. The core is much different then the Crayolas I’ve used in the past. Over all I’m super happy I chose this box. I knew nothing about the world of colored pencils and this box gave me the opportunity to try the more expensive ones and see the difference between different brands, and try some supplies too. Also my box was floating around a few days, saying it was waiting for pickup but it was over a hundred miles away. I contacted customer service, the response was quick and they fixed the problem. my box was delivered the next day. Bravo customer service!!!!!

Best colored pencils ever. My mom who is 93 loves the vivid colors of these pencils for all the coloring she does. Asked me to order her a second set. Then I sharpened them for her LOL

Pleased to write this review. The box subscription is for my nieces high school art class. Her teacher is so impressed with her projects, he's using her work a part of her class assignments.
Her mom tells me the minute the monthly box arrives, she escapes to her room for a day or two.

I really liked the products in terms of ..my art is mostly done with colored pencils . The box gave me a taste of polychromos and caran dache which was ever so helpful..I ended up purchasing sets of both. I stopped my subscription because most of the boxes are geared to painting...watercolors and gauche and acrylic which are nice to try but I didn't need box after box of painting...this box was the only one out of an entire year that was truly useful to me
