Love, love, love the Pilot Parallel Pen and all the different color inks it comes with. Also had fun with the different colored leads for the mechanical pencil and the template ruler that come in the box.

I have had a subscription with SketchBox for a few years. I have been extremely satisfied with all boxes I’ve received, even boxes with a medium I do not use. The art supplies are full size, except for pads of paper or canvasses. I’ve even ordered past boxes to give as gifts. This is a great way to try out new products.

I really liked this box and love all the supplies. The Pilot Parallel pen is so cool and I love that you can gradient the colors. Definitely a fun new tool! It makes calligraphy lettering so much easier to achieve too. The paper suits the pen ink very well and I've already used it for many things. The way the paper pad is designed is great because it protects the next sheet from any messes. The one down side is that it only comes with one Pilot pen. I get why and all, but the directions say that the gradient technique is supposed to be used with 2 pens. Having to switch out inks in the middle of using one seems like a huge waste of so much ink, and once they are open it is hard to store an open cartridge. I don't see myself using up all the ink in those open cartridges in a soon enough amount of time before they dry up. Overall, I'm glad to have been introduced to such an interesting new tool and given supplies to make some great art with it.
