This set was perfect for my recent trip to Scotland. I was traveling with only a carry on bag, and this set slipped into a pocket taking virtually no space at all. The colors are vibrant, and the pallette extensive enough that I could mix to create any hue I wanted. I've purchased another set to keep in my carry on bag for the next trip so that I'll always have one of these ready to go.

I am really enjoying these watercolor paints. They would be the perfect set to carry with you for painting away from home. The set is very thin so it takes up little room in your art bag. I am very happy with the paints. I would recommend!

So I was surprised at how SMALL this is, but it holds a ton of paint, the colors are richly pigmented, more on the opaque side and lay down beautifully

When you say opaque watercolors, I think gouache. Nope, not that opaque.
Thus, I treated it, and it behaved, like standard watercolors.
I had been hoping they would behave like gouache.
Granted, the setup is nice so when I use up the colors, I will refill them - with gouache.
